Analysis
In the last couple of years, Houston has been considered the team most able to challenge the juggernaut Golden State Warriors, with its game based on an extreme interpretation of basketball analytics (in a nutshell: shoot from 3 point line or from under the basket, avoiding the less efficient intermediate game).
GM Daryl Morey has displayed his big creativity on the market, always looking for further stars to work alongside the former MVP James Harden. After the experiment of triumvirate Harden-Paul-Anthony failed miserably, the Rockets made the news again in the post-season, scoring yet another striking market blow: Mr. Triple Double Russell Westbrook lands in Houston while CP3 is headed to Oklahoma City.
Even if many doubts linger over this move that brings together the two most ball dominant players in the league (respectively 1st and 2nd as usage rates during the last season) 7 years after their experience in OKC, the curiosity is obviously sky-high.
The Basket Maniacs forecasts see a stable trend compared to 2018-19, which is not at all a bad news in the extremely balanced league expected next season.
