Analysis

After an amazing start last season (25-11) the Pacers saw their Eastern Conference ambitions shattered after Victor Oladipo's bad injury, but they were nevertheless able to hit the playoffs.

The 2019-20 season sees a conspicuous mix-up in the roster following the retirement of Collison, who decided to hang up his shoes to devote himself body and soul to religious proselytism, and to non-glamorous but certainly well placed market moves.

Brogdon is a further upgrade to the 3rd best defense in the league, and a perfect complement to

Oladipo in the backcourt. Warren fills the gap left by Bogdanovic in Small Forward on the offensive end, but his defensive inclination has not shown up to the Pacers style so far, while Lamb can spark the offense from the bench. After losing Taddheus Young in Power Forward coach McMillian will need some fine-tuning to ensure an effective coexistence of Domantas Sabonis and Myles Turner in the starting five.

Tiny rotation in the big department, but Goga Bitadze could be a steal of the draft if he will confirm the potential shown in Europe.
