Analysis
Deep transformation in Memphis that with the departure of Conley after 12 years of service symbolically closes the "Grit and grind" cycle to start an intriguing longterm project.
Rookie Ja Morant will take over the lead of the team replacing Conley at the point guard, while the rest of the starting five remains substantially unchanged compared to the end of last season.
Many other new faces will wear Grizzlies jersey: Iguodala, Crowder, Tyus Jones, Josh Jackson, Solomon Hill, Melton, Plumlee and Grayson Allen will completely reshape the bench.
No major step forward in the short term, but the renewed roster will entertain by preparing adequately for the future.
