Analysis
Faced with the need to confirm the core members of the 60-22 team of last season, the Bucks managed to safeguard all their valuable pieces with the exception of Malcolm "The President" Brogdon, signed by the Indiana Pacers.
Almost 75% of the overall available minutes should be played by the same players of last year and the only change expected in the starting five 2019-20 will be indeed the replacement of the former ROY by 34-year-old Wes Matthews. Brogdon was an essential component of the outstanding Bucks defense, and his multifaceted contribution will not be fully compensated by the willing Matthews, who on the other hand has a limited offensive efficiency.
Much less influential are the other remixes on the bench, although the departure of Mirotic and Snell will take away a bit of quality from the second lines.
Overall, the Basket Maniacs predictive algorithm provides 4 W’s less for the Bucks who will still be able to make the big voice in the post-Kawhi Eastern Conference.
Forecast 2019-20: 56-26
