Analysis
The Timberwolves resume their journey from where they stopped last year. Jimmy Butler's farewell brought more serenity to the locker room and the individual statistics of the young stars benefited, but on the other end the results confirmed a team that was not competitive enough for a playoffs run.
The 2019-20 season opens with the team structure largely unchanged, except for the PF position where the departure of Gibson and Saric should be compensated by the arrivals of Vonleh and Bell. Fans hero Derrick Rose left as well, and the rookie Culver is ready to take over his minutes.
Another year of transition on the horizon: a team probably not deep enough to reach the playoffs in the Wild West, but not so shabby as to aim for high picks in the 2020 lottery.
Forecast 2019-20: 35-47
